2013 Rosato

$24.00
-+

Our first rosé release crafted with the goal of producing an extremely light colored wine that is dry, refreshing, and aromatic. The 2013 vintage faced frosts, which meant we were unable to produce a Chardonnay. The silver lining, we had space to produce a dry rosé one vintage earlier than planned. The 2013 Rosato is a dry  rosé produced from 100% Cabernet Franc. The vineyard had a small canopy and the grapes were harvested specifically to produce a rosé, as opposed to producing a rosé as by-product. A short 4 hour maceration was used to produce a very light colored wine.
