With a mild winter and the second warmest, and one of the driest, growing seasons on record the 2012 harvest was early and compressed. Our Chardonnay was fermented in New French Oak Barrels and after just a few months transferred to stainless steel tank for élevage. Malolactic fermentation was limited to about 50%. A crisp Chardonnay with a rich & round mouth feel. Serve chilled and consider pairing with tart apple or butternut squash.
