With a mild winter and the second warmest, and one of the driest, growing seasons on record the 2012 harvest was early and compressed. We sought a more 'earthy' Cabernet Sauvignon and to this end selected a new clone from the same vineyard. Our uncompromising red wine production techniques: hand-sort, fermentation in stainless steel, extended maceration, and French Oak élevage remain. This Cabernet Sauvignon is complex and exhibits an incredibly long finish.
