Our 2010 Chardonnay comes from the Vinelands Vineyard in Palisade, CO. The fruit was hand-sorted, fermented in French Oak barrels and then aged in stainless steel tank. The wine did not proceed through full malolactic fermentation. This winemaking technique produces a crisp Chardonnay with a soft oak aroma and mouthfeel which does not overpower the fruit. Earth treatments were used during élevage and the wine is unfiltered. Sediment in the bottle is a natural part of this winemaking practice. Bottles were cellared 11 months prior to release. 14.5% ABV. 84.2 Cases.
