Newsletter Vol. 6 No. 1

March 2015

We've really been enjoying the vertical tasting events. In November we presented Sangiovese, and the very last bottles of the 2007 vintage left the winery in belly & bottle, then in January we enjoyed Cabernet Sauvignon. In March, we're at it again, we are excited to showcase the Syrah. Join us for a taste that begins with our first release, the 2007, all the way through our 2010 Reserve. This special vertical flight will include 6 wines, 4 vintages and 2 reserves. The vertical will coincide with our first release of the Library Syrah from our cellar so you can bring bottles of your favorite home with you.

Our Boulder Wine Reads series continues in March with a fun read: Shadows in the Vineyard. It's a faster read than our last selection, Ancient Wine, so if you're a book worm and an oenophile flip some pages and join us Sunday March 8th, at 4pm. Next up, on April 5th, we'll be gathering to sip & discuss "Inventing Wine".

It was incredibly hard to part with the beautiful photography from Heidi Wagner, we've really enjoyed the images of Italy & Bicycles, two of our favorite things (and elephants, oh my!). In our continuing series of local artists, we are excited to host Katherine Homes and her beautiful paintings on wood. Please join us this Friday to help us welcome Katherine and her work. As part of the NoBo Art District District's First Friday we will be open until 9pm that evening.

Why all the tables, seats, and by-the-glass options in the Tasting Room? We welcome you to experience our food-friendly wines with your own creations. We even offer a flight and a glass option so you can try a flight to decide which wine pairs best with your "Urban Picnic" and then settle in with a glass for the perfect pairing. Even more, the flight & a glass option will save you a few bucks.

Lastly, Settembre Cellars has launched a brand new website. Yes, it's built from the ground up and includes some fancy new technology to make it look snazzy on more of your devices, including smartphones & tablets. But more importantly, it includes some features to make the site even easier to use. One of the features we're pretty excited about, and just used ourselves this past week, is that from our pairings page you can now select a wine and see some suggested pairings for that wine. Additionally, our online wine shop now includes library wines, cellar reports, and an increasing amount of technical details on each of wine. We hope you enjoy!

Once again we hope you've enjoyed the latest edition of Settembre Cellars Newsletter and look forward to seeing you at the winery & tasting room soon.
